The Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation has launched a fundraiser for Darts kamikaze drones for the Ukrainian military.
The Foundation’s press service announced this on social media on Tuesday, October 8.
This fundraiser will notably last only one day.
Within a new “Hit the Bullseye” fundraiser, the Foundation is raising money to purchase Ukrainian-made Darts attack drones.
“The more money we raise, the more drones we will buy!” the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation noted.
It is noted that the cost of one Darts UAV is UAH 39,000.
The Foundation mentioned that the main advantage of these drones is their ability to destroy invaders and equipment at a distance of 40-60 km, depending on the combat load.
It is also noted that these kamikaze drones are equipped with a targeting system and are stable under enemy electronic warfare (EW).
The Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation will draw ten exclusive souvenirs from the barrel of the damaged Russian tank among all those who donate. And for the largest donation, you can get a racket signed by Elina Svitolina, Ukraine’s most titled tennis player.
At the beginning of October, the Security Service of Ukraine received a batch of Darts attack drones thanks to a donation from Ukrtransbezpeka employees.
These loitering munitions by the Ukrainian manufacturer travel at a speed of 160 km per hour and can be equipped with a warhead weighing 4 kilograms.
According to open sources, the Darts drone has a wingspan of 1.9 meters and a fuselage length of 1.5 meters. The drone is equipped with a single engine. The drone’s fuselage can withstand numerous hits from small arms.
