Gas masks should be used for protection against nitric acid vapors and mists.
First aid: if nitric acid has contact with the eyes, rinse them under running water for 10 to 30 minutes.
Upon contact with the skin, the affected area should be washed with water mixed with baking soda and soap.
If the nitric acid was swallowed, the stomach should be rinsed with an excess of water.
Previously, the Head of the Luhansk Region called upon locals to get evacuated from the region as soon as possible.
