The town of Kreminna, Luhansk region, is under the enemy control. The Russians used a large number of armored vehicles to attack the city.

Fighting continues on the outskirts of the town.

This was announced by Oleksandr Dunets, Head of Kreminna Military Administration, Radio Svoboda reports.

“(Kreminna, – ed.) Is completely captured. There are only a few units holding the borders to ensure the regrouping of troops. They had considerable forces: let’s say, one of the units, which is no bigger than a platoon, included up to 43 armored objects: tanks, armored personnel carriers, MTLB,” he said.

Oleksandr Dunets added that some of the enemy equipment had been destroyed. The battles lasted for three days.

There are reports that the invaders are shooting at civilian cars. The car transporting the people trying to evacuate came under fire. The wounded man informed about the incident.

“Noone can help him now. He is on the highway near the border of two regions (Luhansk and Donetsk – ed.)”, – said Oleksandr Dunets.

Serhiy Haidai, Head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration, stated that up to 4,000 people of the Kreminna community are now inside the city, but due to street fighting, evacuation of residents is impossible.
