The Russian invaders lost a Su-25 attack aircraft in the area of responsibility of the 28th Mechanized Brigade.

The brigade’s press service reported on this.

The aircraft was hit due to the work of the air defense unit of the brigade.

The brigade’s video captures the flight of two planes, one of which, after shooting heat traps, goes down and disappears at the level of the forestry while the camera continues to follow the second aircraft.

There is also suggested that a moment before the crash, the cockpit canopy cartridge actuated device was triggered, which occurs before the pilot ejects.

The video itself was published by Russian military blogger Ilya Tumanov. However, he denies the fact of the incident, claiming it was a “maneuver,” although it is unclear how it is possible to “maneuver” when the aircraft is flying downward a few dozen meters from the ground.

The downing of one aircraft was also included in the report of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on occupant losses, which is regularly updated.

In July of this year, soldiers of the 110th Mechanized Brigade shot down a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft that was attacking Ukrainian positions in the Donetsk region.

According to Oryx, the loss of 33 Russian Su-25 attack aircraft during the Russian large-scale aggression against Ukraine has already been confirmed. Some of the aircraft were damaged to varying degrees.
