The current international situation in the world is extremely tense, said the head of the Czech Security and Information Service, Michal Koudelka.

According to him, in the current situation, the main threat is “Russian imperialism, sabotage and intelligence operations of Russia, China and Iran.”

“The world is boiling and dangerously moving on the verge of global collision. In this situation, intelligence will continue to do everything possible to contribute to the protection of the Czech Republic and its citizens,” Koudelka said.

According to him, migration, hostile propaganda, the threat of Islamic terrorism, the growth of right-wing extremism, illegal arms trafficking, cyberattacks, or the possible misuse of artificial intelligence also contribute to instability.

The head of the Czech Security and Information Service urged to realize that the security in the country concerns every citizen, because “we live on the same planet.”

Earlier this year, the Chair of the NATO Military Committee, Dutch Admiral Rob Bauer, said that the West should’ve prepared for a “comprehensive war” with Russia.

The senior NATO official also added that “not everything can be planned and not everything will go smoothly in the next 20 years.”

Previously, a senior NATO military committee official said that the Alliance needs a “transformation of warfare” and called for preparations for an era in which “anything can happen at any time, in which we must expect the unexpected,” including war.

“We need a transformation of NATO’s approach to warfare,” said the Chair of the NATO Military Committee, Dutch Admiral Rob Bauer.

He noted that in the past, NATO governments and companies had lived in an era when everything had been predictable, controlled and focused on efficiency.

Previously, the British Head of the Army stated that the UK nowadays faced threats from four countries, including Russia.

Walker predicted that Russian President Vladimir Putin would be “very, very dangerous” when he emerged from the war in Ukraine and “will want retribution” against Western countries that supported Ukrainian defenders.
