The Ukrainian servicemen continue liberating the settlements of the Kharkiv region from the invaders.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the advance of the Ukrainian servicemen in the region.

This time the Defense Forces of Ukraine liberated the village of Dementiyivka.

“The settlement of Dementiyivka was liberated due to the offensive actions of our troops,” the evening report of the General Staff said on May 18.

It was also noted that the enemy conducts an offensive near the locality of Ternova, the fighting continues.

At the same time, it should be noted that in the Kharkiv region, the enemy’s main efforts are focused on maintaining the occupied frontiers.

The General Staff also noted that in the border areas of Belgorod and Voronezh regions, the invaders continue to maintain units of the 32nd air defense division of the 6th air force and the air defense units of military space forces of the Russian Federation on full alert.

The enemy continues to equip additional firing positions and defensive structures in the border areas of Bryansk and Kursk regions. They also conduct air reconnaissance to identify units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, artillery positions and deployment routes.
