Active fighting continues in the Donbas. With tanks, mortars, artillery and rocket artillery, the enemy is firing at Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlovsk and Zaporizhzhya directions to forge the Ukrainian troops.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are actively repelling the enemy’s attacks on Sloviansk and Kramatorsk directions. This was reported in the evening report of the General Staff on July 6.

In particular, in the Sloviansk direction, the invaders try to improve their tactical position and create conditions for an offensive in the Izium-Sloviansk direction. They’re shelling the districts of Dibrovno, Krasnopillya, Husarivka, Barvinkove, Karnaukhivka and Velyka Komyshuvakha.

The invaders also attacked the direction of Dovhenke-Mazanivka. They were repelled and retreated with the loss.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy tries to occupy Verkhnyokamyanske and Hryhorivka.

“(The enemy – ed.) uses electronic warfare systems. It fired with artillery and rocket artillery in the Sloviansk and Verkhnyokamyansky areas. It inflicted air strikes near Tetyanivka and Sidorove,” the General Staff reports.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy tries to improve the tactical position and establish full control over the Bakhmut-Lysychansk highway.

Here it inflicts artillery strikes in the areas of Spirne, Vyimka and Vesele.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped the invaders and forced them to move to the directions of Mironivka-Luhansk and Holmivskyi-Novoluhanske.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to systematically destroy the enemy’s equipment. Now special attention is paid to the enemy’s artillery. The fighters of the Special Operations Force along with the artillerymen discovered and destroyed several units of the “Uragan” MLRS and auxiliary equipment for them.
