The American firearms manufacturer KelTec will give it`s rifles to Ukrainian citizens free of charge.

Militarnyi reports this with reference to the company “KelTec”.

The company is preparing the first batch of 400 guns, soon be delivered to a NATO-run facility.

The KelTec donation is a prime example of how Americans collect weapons, ammunition, body armor, helmets, and other tactical equipment in response to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s promise to arm Ukrainian citizens.

American weapons will likely be transferred to the Territorial Defense Forces of Ukraine.

The company contacted a diplomat at the Ukrainian Embassy, who helped them obtain a federal license to export weapons in just four days. This process can often take months.

KelTec plans to organize more supplies in the future. Its license allows it to export up to 10,000 weapons, and the company has offered Ukrainians its own production line and weekly deliveries.
