Soldiers of the Prince Roman the Great 14th Mechanized Brigade destroyed a Russian 2S19 Msta-S self-propelled howitzer.

The military published the video in a Telegram.

The footage captured the destruction of the Russian self-propelled howitzer and the burning of the propellant charges, followed by the ammunition detonation.

It is likely that the self-propelled howitzer was destroyed by FPV kamikaze drones, as the military notes that the enemy equipment was targeted by the Charon group of the 14th Mechanized Brigade, which specializes in drone use.

The invaders’ self-propelled howitzer was located in a firing position in a forestry area and fired at Ukrainian positions in this section of the front line.

Msta-S is a Soviet and Russian 152-mm self-propelled howitzer designed to defeat the enemy’s open and hidden manpower, weapons, and military equipment.

The 2S19 artillery unit is placed on a deeply modified chassis of the T-72 tank. Its design integrated the components and units of the T-80 tank chassis. The body of the ACS has retained the tank reservation, but the turret is protected only from light small arms.

The ammunition of the self-propelled howitzer includes 50 rounds with high-explosive shells, Krasnopol laser-guided projectiles, radio-jamming projectiles, etc.

The firing range of this self-propelled howitzer with a 2A64 cannon with conventional shells is 24 km, but it can be increased to 29 kilometers when using a rocket-assisted projectile.
