The territory of the Sumy region was under enemy fire. The strikes targeted the frontier settlements from within the Russian territory.

Seredyna-Buda was shelled this time.

This was announced by Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, Head of Sumy RMA.

The enemy used mortars and aimed at residential blocks.

Resulting of the shelling, at least 10 private civilian houses and farm buildings were damaged.

Fire has destroyed one building after an enemy projectile hit.

Information about the dead or injured is still being confirmed.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, in the Siversk direction, the enemy continues holding the units of the Western Military District in the frontiers areas of the Bryansk and Kursk regions. Invaders are using them to forge the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The enemy continues improving the engineering equipment of the positions and conducting aerial reconnaissance.
