The Khmelnytskyi City Council handed over to Ukrainian tankers the Azimuth electronic reconnaissance system, which was developed in Ukraine.
The 3rd Independent Tank Iron Brigade stated that this system can detect enemy drones from a distance of 15 kilometers.
“We do not often talk about such an electronic system that saves the lives of soldiers, and the news of its receipt from tireless assistants in the rear is even more gratifying,” noted the tankers.
Kvertus company representatives added that the smart synergy of detection and the EW system will make up the perfect pair that will save equipment and crews.
“We hope that with our Azimuth electronic reconnaissance system, you can also detect and jam targets,” the system’s manufacturer added.
The Azimuth system conducts detection and direction finding of unmanned vehicles using radiation signals of their onboard systems (including control, telemetry and data transmission channels).
It is also capable of monitoring the radio frequency spectrum, measuring the parameters of radio frequency radiation, finding signal sources and documenting the results of work.
Kvertus also added that the Azimuth SIGINT system can be deployed within 5 minutes.
The system has an automated operator’s station, which provides control of the system and visualization of the obtained results of work.
The entire Azimuth includes a radio source analysis and detection unit, an antenna feeder system, a laptop for station control and a protective case for transportation.
Application:
Recall that in 2023, the military-industrial complex of Ukraine developed an upgraded version of the P-18 radar.
