Ukrainian soldiers hit a Russian T-90M Proryv tank near Bakhmut, Donetsk region.
Ukrainian journalist Yurii Butusov showcased footage featuring the tank damage.
ATGM operators of the Diver anti-tank unit performed a combat mission.
A modern Russian tank was hit with the Ukrainian-made Stugna-P anti-tank missile system.
“For the first time, the video clearly features the characteristic silhouette of the Proryv tank. An effective battle took place near Bakhmut,” Yurii Butusov said.
The video of Ukrainian servicemen also shows damage to the second tank of the Russian army.
The actions of the Diver anti-tank unit are marked by a high level of intelligence and operational planning.
This is not the first defeat of the Russian T-90M Proryv tank near Bakhmut.
As previously reported, in October, soldiers of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade Kholodnyi Yar neutralized a tank of this type.
For Russia, these tanks are modern vehicles in the T-90 family. They are considered the most adapted to act in the conditions of modern combat, including due to the active protection system, a new system of automatic fire control and increased survivability.
In September 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine captured one Russian Т-90М Proryv tank in Kharkiv Region.
In November, a destroyed modern T-90M Proryv tank of the Russian army was also discovered in a destroyed Russian convoy in the Kharkiv region.
