Satellite images have emerged showing the aftermath of the strike on the air defense unit near the air base in Yeysk.

A comparison of satellite images from June 20 and 21 shows that a barracks building and a nearby hangar were damaged in the territory of the air defense unit near the Yeysk military airfield as a result of the strike on Friday night.

Analysts of the Astra community reported, citing their sources, that 9 Russian servicemen had been wounded in the strike.

At the same time, local authorities did not comment on the strike on Yeysk. Only the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the alleged downing of 43 UAVs over the territory of Krasnodar Krai on the night of June 21.

On June 21, the Ukrainian General Staff reported that the Ukrainian military had struck the storage and preparation sites for Geran-2 drones.

According to the General Staff, the training building and the control center of the drones in Yeysk were hit.

The published satellite images also show traces of a fire at a Russian military facility.

Sources of the Ukrainian media outlet UNIAN reported that on the night of June 21, the SSU and the Armed Forces of Ukraine had struck at Shahed drones launch site and three oil refineries in Krasnodar Krai.

“Initially, as part of a joint implementation with the missile forces and the Ukrainian Navy, the Ukrainian military hit the training ground of the 167th training center in the village of Yeysk, from where the Russians launch Shahed drones into Ukraine. There is a warehouse of Iranian drones and their operators live in the barracks. A series of explosions with subsequent detonation was recorded at the training ground,” the sources said.

Also, the SSU, together with units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, struck the Afipsky, Ilsky oil refineries, and oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai with UAVs.

It is possible that a Ukrainian cruise missile of the R-360 Neptune system was used to strike the military unit.

It is stated that the maximum range of the missile does not exceed 300 kilometers, and the maximum speed is 900 kilometers per hour.
