The units of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine have destroyed a frontline fuel depot and oil base belonging to Russian invaders in the Luhansk region.
The strike was carried out on the night of October 27, according to the Special Operations Forces press service.
According to Ukrainian special forces, the Russian army’s supply facilities were located in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region. It was from there that the enemy supplied fuel for equipment on the front line.
The operation was carried out by Special Operations Forces strike drones. The strike occurred at a time when the fuel tanks were completely full, resulting in powerful explosions and significant damage.
According to preliminary information, the fire engulfed a large area of the depot, and the consequences of the detonation significantly complicated the enemy’s logistics in the area.
The Special Operations Forces emphasized that such strikes are part of a strategy of asymmetric actions aimed at exhausting the Russian army and undermining its combat potential.
Recently, one of the units of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine received 200 Blyskavka strike drones. These drones are the result of contributions from the Ukrainian diaspora, donors from Ukraine, and international partners. The Blyskavka is a Ukrainian fixed-wing FPV strike drone developed by Vyriy Drone. It can carry up to 9 kg of payload over a distance of up to 40 km, allowing it to strike targets deep behind enemy lines.
