Special forces of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, together with the Defense Intelligence and service members of the 3rd Army Corps, killed a dozen invaders, including a Belarusian citizen, during a gunfight.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine released a video of the operation on its social media accounts.

Members of the Dozor special forces unit carried out raid-assault operations against enemy positions within the 3rd Army Corps’ area of responsibility in the Donetsk region.

The clash resulted in the deaths of 13 Russian servicemen.

Additional aerial reconnaissance with heavy attack drones destroyed five more enemy combatants and wounded six.

The dead included individuals identified with Russian and Belarusian passports.

The operation was conducted in close coordination with units from the 3rd Army Corps and the Artan special unit of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

In October, reports indicated that at least 314 Belarusian citizens fighting for Russia had died on the front lines.

For comparison, Belarus suffered 723 casualties over the ten-year war in Afghanistan.

According to the “I Want to Live” project, 1,338 Belarusians fought against Ukraine, with nearly one in four already killed.

Experts caution that the actual number of dead and missing may be significantly higher.

The casualties include men aged between 18 and 63.
