The Spanish army will join the process of Ukrainian military training, but on its territory.

This was reported by the Spanish edition “El Mundo.”

“Spain has been preparing for weeks for the arrival of Ukrainian military contingents who will undergo exercises on the basis of our country,” the report said.

The training will reportedly take place in the Spanish city of Zaragoza.

As the United Kingdom is already doing on its territory, the Spanish Ministry of Defense is believed to be fulfilling one of the commitments made to Volodymyr Zelensky’s government and will invite the Ukrainian military to training ahead of military deployments.

Earlier it was reported that the UK will significantly expand the training program of the Ukrainian military – it is about training tens of thousands of soldiers.

During a June visit to Kyiv, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson proposed the program of training of the Ukrainian military in British territory to Volodymyr Zelensky.

Then the PM said that the United Kingdom’s military can provide training for up to 10 thousand Ukrainian troops every 120 days.

It should be reminded that recently Spain also sent Ukraine another plane with ammunition for large-caliber artillery systems.

This was the fifth shipment of weapons for Kyiv from Madrid in the past few days.

Moreover, 20 trucks full of winter equipment for the Ukrainian military have already left Spain. Ten of them have already arrived in Poland, ten more are on the way.
