The soldiers of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine hit the personnel and equipment of the Russian invaders on the Kinburn Spit using drones.
The press service of Defense Intelligence of Ukraine reported on this and released a video of the combat work of the Ukrainian soldiers.
The Soldiers of the Cyclone group of the International Legion of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine took part in this operation.
The drone operators used FPV strikes to destroy both the Russian equipment and fortifications.
The strikes targeted, in particular, an armored personnel carrier (APC) with Russian servicemen on the move, a Tiger armored vehicle, a fortified observation post, and Russian firing positions.
In addition, the soldiers used FPV drones to hit buildings where Russian military personnel were stationed. Their visual surveillance equipment also came under attack.
As a result of the strikes, some buildings were destroyed or caught fire, which will prevent the enemy from using them for their military purposes in the future.
Previously, the Special Forces of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine landed on the Kinburn Spit in the Mykolaiiv region and destroyed dozens of invaders and equipment.
On August 9, 2024, a group of DIU operators from the Chimera, Aratta, Stuhna, Paragon, Terror and Siberian Battalion units conducted a successful raid on the occupied territories.
The landing operation on the Kinburn Spit was conducted with the support of the Navy in cooperation with other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
During the operation on the spit, the Special Forces attacked Russian fortifications at their positions “Kinburn Fortress,” “Marine Station” and “Monument to Suvorov.”
The DIU reported that during the raid, six units of enemy armored vehicles were destroyed and about three dozen invaders were neutralized.
