Soldiers of the 12th Special Operations Brigade “Azov” of the National Guard of Ukraine captured 23 Russian invaders in the Toretsk sector.

The brigade’s press service reported on this and published a video with the POWs.

It is noted that the Russians surrendered voluntarily, some of them were found in basements, and others were captured during storms of enemy positions.

These soldiers of the invasion army were lucky to survive. The POWs are in fair condition and have adequate conditions of detention.

The invaders will be transferred to the relevant services to be exchanged for Ukrainians held in Russian captivity.

“The Russian military will be handed over to the relevant services. We hope that they will be exchanged for captured Ukrainian defenders in the near future,” the Azov Brigade noted.

The Russians do not stop their attempts to advance in the Toretsk sector. The soldiers of the Azov Brigade are doing everything they can to hold back the enemy in this section of the front and destroy as much of the invaders’ equipment and manpower as possible.

Militarnyi previously reported that the drone operators and tank crews of the 12th Special Operations Brigade “Azov” of the National Guard of Ukraine repulsed another attack by Russian troops in the Toretsk sector.

It is reported that the enemy had engaged several units of armored vehicles in the attack. Judging by the footage, these were BMP-2 and MT-LB.

Azov Brigade’s drones attacked enemy armored vehicles on the way to defenders’ positions.

The Russian infantry that had survived the armored assault tried to gain a foothold in the buildings under the attack of Ukrainian drones.

The tank crews of the 12th Brigade also contributed to the destruction of the invaders, bringing their combat vehicles to the building and shooting the Russian infantry at close range.
