Two soldiers from the 425th “Skala” Separate Assault Regiment repelled an enemy attack and took prisoners.
The video was released by the brigade’s press service.
The enemy assault group of four infantrymen attempted to seize a building held by two Skala soldiers.
Initially, a Russian machine gunner, taking cover in a neighboring building, opened fire on Ukrainian positions, but was quickly met with a grenade in response.
Afterward, the Russian infantrymen tried to bypass the structure and approach again, but failed.
FPV drones arrived to support the Ukrainian soldiers, causing the enemy infantry to scatter: a machine gunner fled the battlefield, one was killed, and two took shelter in the basement.
Eventually, Skala’s soldiers left the building and captured the two remaining invaders from the basement.
X user, known as moklasen, detailed that the battle took place in the central part of the village of Shevchenko, near Pokrovsk.
Recently, it was reported that soldiers of the 425th Regiment “Skala” stormed Russian fortifications near the village of Udachne in the Pokrovsk sector.
The regiment’s reconnaissance group was supposed to clear two dugouts occupied by Russians. However, after the assault began, the enemy left the position without fighting and retreated.
In late February, Militarnyi reported that Skala soldiers had successfully cleared enemy positions and captured a Russian soldier.
The operation to eliminate the invaders was conducted in cooperation with drones, which used a drop system to force the enemy to hide in a dugout.
The trenches were cleared in a “two-man” format: one soldier provided cover, while the other threw grenades into the dugout.
