After a massive missile and drone attack on the capital, the debris of a Shahed/Geranium family jet drone were found.

Clash Report published the photos of the debris.

During the inspection of the wreckage of the downed drones, the remains of electronics, a Bosch 0-580 fuel pump, and a compact turbojet engine were found.

The authors identified the engine as a Czech PBS TJ40-G2, but the manufacturer, PBS GROUP, denied this.

“The engine in the photo credits is NOT a PBS TJ40-G2. We categorically reject the allegations that the engine manufactured by the company was involved in the attack on Kyiv. We only supply our Ukrainian partners with documented and traceable engines. Since the beginning of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, PBS GROUP has not supplied any products to Russia and trades exclusively with trusted customers. We categorically do not supply products to countries or organizations listed on international sanctions lists,” the company stated.

Last month, Militarnyi reported on the intensification of Russian strikes using jet drones. On the night of July 31, Russian troops used eight of them.

At that time, it was probably a version of the Iranian Shahed-238 drone localized in Russia, locally known as the Geranium-3.

There is also reason to believe that the Russians had previously used the Geranium-3 or its modification to strike Kyiv.

In general, the first mention of the presence of this drone by the invaders appeared in February 2025. At the end of June, the wreckage of a Geranium-3 drone with the serial number U-36 was found, indicating that these drones are still in small-scale production.

According to Russian propaganda sources, the Geranium-3 is 3.5 meters long, has a wingspan of three meters, and a maximum flight altitude of 9.1 kilometers.

The drone’s flight time is estimated to be up to two hours, and its takeoff weight has increased to 380 kilograms, which is significantly higher than the 250 kilograms of the previous Geranium-2 model.
