On the night of Friday, August 9, a convoy of invaders’ military equipment was destroyed in the Kursk region of Russia.
Local Telegram channels reported on this.
Eyewitnesses among local residents posted a video of the fire, in which the sounds of ammunition detonation can be heard.
The vehicles were burning directly on the road. Probably, the Russian troops were moving in a convoy.
The defeat of the invaders’ equipment and personnel took place near the village of Oktyabrske in the Rylsky district of the Kursk region.
One of the published videos shows a highway that is completely blocked by cars on fire.
In the morning, a video of a broken convoy of Russian military trucks appeared on Russian social media.
The footage shows destroyed and damaged Kamaz trucks and neutralized soldiers of the Russian invasion army.
As previously reported, Russian troops lost a Ka-52 attack helicopter in the Kursk region. According to the Russian military and propagandists, it is known that the helicopter’s commander (whose crew consisted of two pilots) didn’t survive. The navigator was severely injured as a result of a hard landing and was hospitalized.
Based on the published photo of the Ka-52 helicopter, it is presumed that the crash landing was caused by an anti-aircraft missile or another air defense system equipped with a small warhead. In addition, as a result of the hard landing, the helicopter started to burn, making it impossible to repair and return to service.
As previously reported, a Russian Mi-28 attack helicopter was damaged by a kamikaze FPV drone in the Kursk region. The Russians said the crew had survived and the helicopter had been sent for repair.
