Russian Invaders With US and Russian Flags Attempted to Storm Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia Region

Russian troops used US and Russian flags during an assault on defense forces’ positions in the Zaporizhzhia region.

The Russian propaganda outlet Russia Today published a video of this episode.

The incident took place near Mala Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhia region, where Russian forces attempted to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders.

At this time, the exact type of armored personnel carrier remains unknown, as some users have noticed structural differences in the allegedly M113 APC claimed by propagandists, suggesting it more closely resembles Russian BTR-MDM Rakushka.

According to OSINT specialists, the attack took place on August 12th, and the route of the armored personnel carrier ran from Verbove to Mala Tokmachka.

The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andrii Yermak, reacted to the video, writing on his Telegram channel that the use of US symbols in Russia’s war of aggression is an act of blatant insolence.

“In fact, the Russians are using the symbols of the United States in their terrorist, aggressive war involving the killing of civilians. This is the height of insolence,” Yermak wrote on his Telegram channel.

It is worth noting that the publication of this video by Russian propagandists took place on the same day as the scheduled official meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. President Donald Trump, as well as a joint meeting with European heads of state.
