Russia has withdrawn most of its helicopters from a strategic airport in Chornobayivka in the Kherson region.
The Militarnyi informs about it.
The American newspaper The New York Times came to the conclusion that now the Russian occupation forces have withdrawn most of their military aircraft from Chornobayivka, Ukrainian Pravda reports.
According to satellite images analyzed by The Times, in what experts said could be a telltale sign of Russian military setbacks in the south of the country.
It is also argued that control over Kherson is essential to any effort to dominate the south broadly.
In the address of the President Volodymyr Zelensky following the results of the 27th day of war, it became known that the Ukrainian troops again struck at the Russian military in Chornobayevka. It became the eighth overall.
“Our Armed Forces today pleased us: again Chornobaivka, again the defeat of the occupiers, again shot down Russian planes, especially important – the bomber over Mariupol. And so it will be with everyone who kills our people, peaceful people on our peaceful land.
I want to repeat once again to all Russian pilots who do not think what order they are carrying out: killing civilians is a crime. Period. And you will be responsible anyway. Today or tomorrow is less important. The main thing is inevitable.”
As reported earlier, the satellite images showed the destruction of Russian equipment at a military airfield near Kherson in the village of Chornobaivka.
In the southern part of Ukraine, the servicemen strike with the Bayraktar TB2 UAV at Russian troops.
Massive artillery strikes on Russian army positions are recorded on drone cameras.
