One of the largest Russian storage bases containing MT-LB armored vehicles – the 7004th arsenal – has now become almost completely empty.
OSINT analyst Jompy reported about this on his X account.
Only three heavily damaged vehicles remain on the site, and they are unlikely to be suitable for use.
Until recently, this base was a key storage site for Soviet armored vehicles that were actively used in the war against Ukraine. Now it appears abandoned, and most of the equipment has been removed.
The 7004th arsenal was considered one of the largest MT-LB storage locations. According to OSINT analysts, it may have contained several hundred vehicles that were gradually sent to the front or written off.
The storage base is located near the city of Arsenyev in Primorsky Krai. This is about 7,000 km from the Ukrainian border.
A similar situation can be seen at other depots as well. In particular, updated satellite images of Ussuriysk show that almost all the equipment has disappeared, with only trucks remaining.
This gives grounds to expect similar changes at the 7020th base, which has not yet been updated but has likely been emptied as well.
An example of this is the 7033rd arsenal, where self-propelled artillery systems and multiple-launch rocket systems were previously stored. The area now appears almost empty.
Meanwhile, the condition of the remaining vehicles indicates they are unusable. Many of them appear damaged or dismantled, making their restoration impossible.
Russia has depleted almost half of its stock of towed artillery at the storage base near the city of Shchuchye, where about 50% of all its towed artillery had been stored.
At the same time, the rate of de-preservation has fallen more than fourfold compared to 2022.
