On the morning of October 30, Russia carried out a massive missile and drone strike on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

According to the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian Air Force, the invaders used various types of missiles.

These included both cruise missiles and Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missiles, as well as Shahed drones.

Air raid alerts were declared across the entire territory of Ukraine, and explosions were heard in central and western regions.

After that, Ukrenergo, the national energy company, announced the implementation of emergency power outages in most regions.

“Restoration work will begin as soon as the security situation allows. Emergency power outages will be canceled once the situation in the energy system stabilizes,” the company stated.

Minister of Energy Svitlana Hrynchuk confirmed that the Russian attack was specifically aimed at the country’s energy facilities.
