Rheinmetall-MAN Consortium Presents Multi-Purpose Armored Truck

Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles (RMMV) has unveiled its new TGS-Mil Protected armored truck.

This was announced in a press release by the company.

The model is based on the TG generation military truck manufactured by RMMV in Vienna. The TGS-Mil Protected is equipped with a protected cabin designed for two people.

The Rheinmetall solution complies with current NATO standards and is available in 6×6 and 8×8 configurations.

Due to its modular design, the truck can be adapted to various tasks by changing the level of protection, integrating modern communication systems, and installing specialized equipment.

The vehicle is equipped with a six-cylinder MAN D2676 diesel engine with a power output of up to 382 kW (520 hp) and a torque of up to 2,650 Nm.

The engine complies with Euro II, V, and VIe environmental standards and is compatible with NATO F34 fuel.

The drive and chassis are based on proven components from the civilian sector, which simplifies maintenance anywhere in the world.

Recently, on July 5, it was reported that the Slovenian Ministry of Defense had signed a framework agreement with RMMV for the purchase of HX2 8×8 tactical trucks in various configurations.

The framework contract has a term of 36 months and a total value of approximately €32 million and provides for the purchase of up to 28 HX2 trucks with armored cabins.
