Presidential brigade stops assault near Vremivka

Units of the Presidential Brigade stopped a Russian assault in the Vremivka area of the Donetsk region.

This was reported by the brigade’s press service.

The preparations to repel the assault began after aerial reconnaissance detected Russian units advancing on armored vehicles with improvised anti-drone protection.

Their advance took place near the village of Velyka Novosilka, where Russians have recently been conducting assault operations in the hope of breaking through the Ukrainian defense.

This assault was no exception. The Russians attacked the defenders’ positions from two directions, where the 3rd Mechanized Battalion and the 20th Separate Special Forces Battalion of the Presidential Brigade were holding the line.

The main losses to the enemy assault groups were inflicted by Chimera, Bulava, and NOVA attack UAV units.

Thanks to the active work of drone pilots, the enemy equipment was burned or abandoned. The enemy’s attempts to save the equipment also failed, as most of the surviving armored vehicles were destroyed by drones with drops.

The remnants of the Russian infantry began to flee to the nearby forest belts, where mortars and drones began to target them.

A novelty in the clearing of the forest belt was a drone with an assault rifle that finished off the Russian infantry from the air. The drone flew over the forest belt and fired at the remnants of the Russians who were trying to hide.

It was developed by the specialists of the Bulava unit, which is currently being actively used against the enemy.

Earlier, Militarnyi reported that the occupiers had sent several columns of armored vehicles to assault in the Vremivka area, which, in particular, had been stopped by the Presidential Brigade.

In one of the areas, the enemy used 8 units of equipment, and the units of the Separate Presidential Brigade managed to destroy two tanks and two armored personnel carriers.
