Benefactors have purchased for the needs of the military of Ukraine CVR (T)-family armored vehicles in the UK.

Funds for armored vehicles were raised by volunteers and former Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko.

Poroshenko demonstrated the acquired FV105 Sultan, FV103 Spartan and FV104 Samaritan, which are in a military depot in Britain.

“This is a fighting vehicle, called Spartan. They perform reconnaissance, sentinel and combat functions. Today, we jointly buy and send this armored equipment for counteroffensive to Ukraine,” Poroshenko said.

Petro Poroshenko said that the vehicles were purchased according to the recommendations of the Ukrainian military.

“During visits to the East and South [of Ukraine], the military strongly advised me to look towards Spartan vehicles, several dozen of which have already been delivered to Ukraine from the United Kingdom,” Poroshenko explained.

After arriving in Britain, the volunteers agreed with the Ministry of Defence to demonstrate this technique.

“This technique is in perfect condition. All these vehicles are of the same type, but incarcerated for different functions,” Poroshenko said.

The FV105 “Sultan” mobile command post carrier has additional radio communication equipment, a table for topographic maps and tablets, and additional batteries.

FV104 “Samaritan” medevac vehicles perform the role of armored ambulances on the battlefield.

Six tracked armored personnel carriers FV103 “Spartan” will recently go through Poland to Ukraine. This APC can carry up to seven people, including three crew members. Armed with one 7.62mm machine gun.

“In the 8 of them, we must replace the batteries and prepare them for dispatch to the assault battalion,” the volunteers said.
