Ukrainian developers from Pars presented a Trembita cruise missile with a range of up to 150 kilometers at the defense exhibition.
The company’s representatives told Militarnyi correspondents about the details of the new development at the Defense Tech Innovation Forum 2025.
“This is a cheap tool. We use simple technologies, such as aluminum cutting and bending, actually repeating the design of World War II aircraft. This allows us to significantly reduce the cost of the product. The missile is built around a pulsating jet engine, which consists of stainless steel and no moving parts. It is cheap and simple. Yes, it has some disadvantages, but its advantages are worth it,” said Akim Klemenov, the company’s CEO.
Due to the constructive approach, the developers managed to reduce the price of the basic version of the missile to USD 4-4.5 thousand. However, with the addition of a warhead and more complex avionics, the cost may rise to USD 10-15 thousand.
“We received funding from the Brave1 Innovation Fund. Now we are working on completing the testing phase of the missile in the decoy version, after which we will immediately begin to prove it in the strike version,” the developers say.
Currently, Trembita is in the final stages of testing. Part of the technical documentation for it has already been submitted to the Ministry of Defence for codification, and it is expected that the final tests would confirm the actual parameters of the product that would be included in the documents.
According to the developers, the new missile in the strike version will be equipped with a warhead weighing 20 kilograms and will be able to hit targets at a depth of 150-160 kilometers. With such parameters, the missile can reach a speed of up to 110 meters per second, which is almost 400 km/h.
“We have several offers from existing manufacturers of warheads, so we will most likely cooperate with someone. There is no problem with that now,” says Klemenov.
The decoy version of the missile will carry an additional fuel tank in the warhead compartment, which will increase the range to 200 kilometers.
To launch the Trembita, the developers have created a special semi-trailer that can simultaneously carry up to seven missiles, regardless of their modification.
The developers position their product as a frontline weapon to engage targets located at long distances, thus complementing classical missile and artillery weapons. Both versions of the missile will be able to be used simultaneously to deplete enemy air defense systems and engage targets.
It is worth reminding that at the Defense Tech Innovation Forum 2025, the Ukrainian company DeViRo presented the Bulava unmanned reconnaissance and strike system.
