According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, thanks to Ukrainian artillerymen, the Russian invaders are forced to move their depots further away from the frontline.

Oleksiy Hromov, the Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stated this at his July 14 Ukraine – Ukrinform media center briefing.

Currently, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to resist the Russian invasion forces in designated areas.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine’s goal is to identify the enemy and inflict maximum losses. For this purpose they continue to actively use rocket launchers and long-range artillery received from international allies.

“In addition to multiple rocket launcher systems, the army is actively using 155-mm Smart artillery rounds and has hit almost 30 armored enemy objects with it,” Oleksiy Hromov said.

The Ukrainian servicemen are also destroying enemy command posts and disrupting logistical chains of the Russian invasion forces.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received intelligence that the invaders were forced to move their ammunition and fuel depots further away from the frontline.

“Currently, the enemy considers the possibility of relocating brigade-level warehouses 100 kilometers away from the frontline. And corps-level warehouses — 150 kilometers away,” Oleksiy Hromov said.

Oleksiy Hromov emphasized that, most likely, the Russians will move their depots into civilian infrastructure facilities.

Previously, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported that General Mark Milley, Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, recognized the effectiveness of our work with missile and artillery systems, particularly the American-made M142 HIMARS.

Recently, soldiers of the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the First Winter Campaign showcased their work destroying the enemy artillery.

To eliminate enemy weapons, the Ukrainian servicemen used M109 self-propelled howitzers.
