An explosion followed by a large fire was reported at an oil depot in the russian town of Belgorod, not far from the Ukrainian border.

Ukrinform reports, that this was stated by Vyacheslav Gladkov, Head of Belgorod region of the russian federation, early on April 1.
“The fire started at the oil depot in the town of Belgorod. All emergency services were deployed to the site. Measures to eliminate it are being undertaken,” he said.
Later, the governor of the region accused the Ukrainian military of an airstrike.
“Two of the Ukrainian military helicopters have struck a fuel depot in the russian city of Belgorod. The helicopters struck the facility after crossing the border at low altitudes. There are no casualties. The Ministry of Emergency Situations is trying to localize the fire in the shortest time possible. There is no threat to the residents,” he wrote.
Videos featuring two Mi-24 attack helicopters, launching a missile strike at the oil depot, are now circulating the social media.
Gladkov later clarified that two depot employees had been injured.
Residents of three neighboring streets are being evacuated.
As reported earlier, on March 29, explosions had erupted at an ammunition depot of the russian army in the Belgorod region. The incident took place near the village of Krasny Oktyabr.
According to TASS referencing a source from the emergency services, four servicemen had been wounded.
