The Ukrainian Marines have received five mobile command and control centers for unmanned aerial vehicles.
They were handed over as part of a joint project of the Come Back Alive Foundation and the VIDI group of companies called the “Intelligence Drive.”
This was reported by the foundation’s press service.
“In April, we completed the collection for the “Intelligence Drive” project, within which we managed to accumulate UAH 15,255,720, of which UAH 3,900,000 was the contribution of the VIDI group of companies,” the Come Back Alive Foundation said.
The command and control posts for UAVs were received by:
The command posts with workplaces for UAV pilots were designed by the charity’s specialists on the basis of passable minibuses, taking into account the combat experience and wishes of the marines themselves.
The vehicles have been re-equipped and equipped with the most necessary things to ensure the crews’ mobility and comfort while performing combat missions.
“Mobile UAV command posts have batteries for uninterrupted operation and air conditioning, which means they can operate in any weather, winter and summer. These vehicles help us to quickly change positions, reconnaissance areas, and move along the entire contact line,” says an aerial reconnaissance man with the 35th Separate Marine Brigade, call sign “Raccoon”.
The vehicles will increase mobility, safety and convenience for the crews searching for enemy targets and adjusting fire on them.
The Come Back Alive Foundation noted that these command posts were suitable for use with any reconnaissance UAV, including SHARK, Leleka-100, Furia, Valkyrie, FlyEye, ACS-3, etc.
The fundraising for the “Intelligence Drive” project started on February 22 this year.
Recently, the soldiers of the Air Command “South” of the Ukrainian Air Force received 25 new pickup trucks from the Come Back Alive Foundation.
