The Ukrainian military showcased the destruction of a convoy of Russian military using UAVs donated by Lithuanians.
A convoy of ammunition trucks was found in the area of the village of Stara Krasnyanka, in the Luhansk region.
Lithuanian journalist Andrius Tapinas said that Ukrainian fighters adjusted the fire using the Magyla-3 drone.
“In the video, we see the work of the Magyla-3 that was transmitted to the special forces. The drone captures the Russian military convoy, tracks it, transmits information and coordinates to HIMARS and stands by to see the results,” says Andrius Tapinas.
The Magyla-3 drone was purchased for the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the funds of Lithuanian citizens.
Magyla-3 is an EOS C VTOL vertical takeoff reconnaissance drone.
Lithuanians spent 990,000 euros on six drones. The cost of one is 165,000 euros.
The drones were named “Magyla” after the ancient Lithuanian goddess of death.
Drones “EOS C VTOL” (“ELECTRIC HIGH PERFORMANCE VTOL MINI-UAV”) are developed by Estonian company “Threod Systems,” which manufactures unmanned aircraft systems, that include unmanned aerial vehicles with both a fixed wing and a vertical takeoff.
EOS C is a high-performance electric mini-UAV of vertical take-off and landing with best-in-class flight performance and many unique features.
The Estonian drone works extremely quietly, it is not heard even at low altitudes.
The drone camera can record enemy equipment in detail at a distance of 15 kilometers. The drone has high reliability and safety during vertical takeoff and landing.
