The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue destroying the armored vehicles of Russian invaders in the course of hostilities.
This was reported by the Command of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Last night, Lviv paratroopers destroyed eight units of Russian armored vehicles.
The Ukrainian military has released footage featuring the defeat of several enemy combat vehicles.
The crew of Ukrainian-made “Stugna-P” anti-tank missile systems was working against the enemy.
“Over the past day, three tanks, three infantry fighting vehicles, and two amphibious assault vehicles were destroyed by the anti-tank units of the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” said the statement of the military.
The paratroopers destroyed three tanks, three BMPs, and two amphibious infantry fighting vehicles.
The Ukrainian military did not specify the losses of the enemy’s manpower.
Earlier, Lviv paratroopers demonstrated how they have destroyed the invader charging vehicle to the ТОS-1А “Solntsepek” system using the “Stugna-P” ATGM.
Stugna-P is a second generation Ukrainian anti-tank missile system. It is developed by the Luch Design Bureau.
The system is semi-automatic, and equipped with a laser beam guidance system. The system can fire 130mm caliber missiles with various warheads installed in the cargo container.
The 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade is a military detachment of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is primarily based in Lviv.
