In an interview for the Situational Awareness podcast, Tomas Milasauskas, CEO of RSI Europe, estimated the size of the Lithuanian FPV drone market at €10–15 million as of 2024. According to him, this number could grow several times in 2025.
“These are still very early stages of market development. But my guess would be around €10–15 million for last year — that’s for the FPV segment specifically,” Milasauskas said.
He noted that Lithuania has high concentration of FPV manufacturers for such a small country, with at least five major companies active in the sector. Some produce complete drones, while others specialize in training, as well as component development – including cameras, electronics, and fiber-optic spools.
“Most drones produced in Lithuania are shipped to Ukraine. The structure of the ecosystem is similar to Ukraine’s, just scaled down to Lithuania’s size,” he added.
Beyond FPV drones, the Lithuanian market also includes companies working on fixed-wing UAVs, ground-based training platforms, and other systems.
RSI Europe is a Lithuanian company that specializes in the development and manufacturing of innovative radio and electronic systems for the defense sector.
