Kyrylo Budanov Will Become Head of the Office of the President

Kyrylo Budanov has accepted Volodymyr Zelensky’s offer to head the Office of the President of Ukraine.

He announced this in a public statement on his Facebook page, emphasizing that he continues to serve Ukraine.

Budanov noted that he sees the position of head of the Office of the President as another milestone of responsibility to the country.

According to him, in his new role, he will focus on critical issues of Ukraine’s strategic security.

Kyrylo Budanov is the Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine. He has been heading Ukraine’s military intelligence since 2020.

In his address, Budanov thanked the President of Ukraine for his trust.

He also expressed gratitude to his combat sworn brothers and the DIU team.

“The fight against the enemy and the work to achieve a just peace continue,” Budanov emphasized.

As a reminder, the DIU showed a video of the ‘elimination’ of RVC commander Denis WhiteRex Kapustin from an FPV drone.
