Khartiia Brigade Fights Off Russian Offensive in Kharkiv Region, Eliminates Around 70 Russian Invaders

The soldiers of the Khartiia Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine have killed around 70 Russian invaders north of Kharkiv.

The brigade’s press service reported on this.

The destruction of the Russian invaders in this area was recorded by Ukrainian drones.

According to the military, Russian forces had been attempting assault operations in the brigade’s area of responsibility for a week.

The released footage shows that most of the occupiers were eliminated using FPV drones and UAVs with explosive drops.

Ukrainian drones struck both individual Russian soldiers moving across open ground and positions where they were attempting to entrench themselves.

Also, the artillery of the Khartiia Brigade was involved in coordination with infantry soldiers and drone operators.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the morning of January 15 that over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders stopped 14 Russian attacks on the South Slobozhansk direction.

The clashes took place, in particular, in the areas of Vovchansk, Zelene, and in the directions of the settlements of Hrafske, Vovchanski Khutory, and Kruhly.

On January 12, the soldiers of the 2nd Khartiia Corp of the National Guard of Ukraine took control of the Kupiansk City Council building in the Kharkiv region.

Currently, the search-and-strike group of the corps, together with the tactical group “Kupiansk,” is completing the city’s cleanup, which was liberated during a successful operation led by the command of the 2nd Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine.

Part of Kupiansk is fully under Ukrainian military control, but Russian infantry are still spotted in the city, hiding among the destroyed buildings and continuing to resist.
