In the village of Glushkovo in the Kursk region, which is controlled by Russian troops, a case of looting by the Russian Chechen military, so called Kadyrovtsy, was recorded.
The video from CCTV cameras appeared on local Telegram channels.
The video shows two Kadyrovsy entering the premises of a local electronics store through a window and trying to break down the door.
In addition, the footage shows them collecting phones from the store shelves and leaving the store through a previously broken window.
According to the DeepState monitoring service, the village of Glushkovo is about ten kilometers from the gray zone.
Previously, the Ukrainian Air Force destroyed the bridge over the Seim River, which was located in this village.
This bridge, along with two others located near the villages of Zvanoye and Karyzh, are the only road bridges over the Seim River in the area. Besides them, there is also one railway bridge.
If these facilities are destroyed, part of the Glushkovsky district could be cut off from the main Russian forces from the north. At the same time, the Russian-Ukrainian border is located to the west, and rapidly advancing Ukrainian forces are in the east.
Unlike Russian troops, who are looting on their own territory, the Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region launched a humanitarian operation in the controlled territories.
The citizens abandoned by Russia are mostly elderly people, people with disabilities, and even families with children. They need food, water, and medicine.
On August 16, Ihor Klymenko, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, reported that about 150 food packages were formed in the Sumy region and sent through the military to Russian civilians in the operation area.
In addition, it is planned to allow international humanitarian organizations to provide humanitarian response and monitor the humanitarian situation.
