The ground forces of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have taken delivery of a new stealth drone, the Hadid-110.
The report appeared in the Tehran Times.
The media outlet said the Hadid-110, also known as the Dalaho, was developed for strike missions and is built on a stealth platform powered by a jet engine.
The drone was first shown in February 2025 during a meeting between the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and a group of scientists, officials and defense industry experts.
The UAV was used during the five-day anti-terrorism exercise “Sahand-2025,” a field drill of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) held in Iran’s East Azerbaijan Province.
Ten SCO member states took part in the exercise: Belarus, Iran, India, China, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
According to the Tehran Times, the Hadid-110’s airframe was designed to reduce its radar cross-section. Its faceted shape also suggests an effort to limit radar visibility, a feature typical of stealth aircraft.
A video released by Iranian media appears to show the drone being launched with a solid-fuel booster.
According to the U.S. Armed Forces’ open ODIN database, the Hadid-110 can reach speeds of up to 510 km/h, has a range of 350 km and a service ceiling of 30,000 feet (9,144 meters). It carries a 30-kg warhead and can remain airborne for up to one hour.
In early December, the Iranian Navy received the restored frigate Sahand, which was accidentally sunk twice in 2024.
On July 6, 2024, the ship suddenly listed to port and sank at the 1st Naval District in Bandar Abbas. On July 9, during another salvage attempt, the military managed to lift Sahand from the seabed but later accidentally sank it again — this time at a greater depth.
Sahand is one of Iran’s most modern Mowj-class frigates. It was launched in 2012 and commissioned in December 2018.
