A new large underground city has been built in Iran to house ballistic and cruise missiles.
The Iranian publication Noghtezan published photos of the huge tunnels of this base.
The missile base belongs to the Aerospace Forces of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
It is stated that the underground tunnels and rooms of this huge base, stretching for tens of kilometers, contain thousands of different ballistic and cruise missiles.
The list includes the Sejil, Haj Qasem and Khaybar Shekan medium-range solid-fuel ballistic missiles.
There are also Ghadr-H and Emad liquid-propellant medium-range ballistic missiles and Paveh long-range missiles.
A lot of self-propelled launchers are also noteworthy, all of which can be easily disguised as ordinary tractors with cargo semi-trailers.
At the same time, Iran also has underground military bases of the Air Force.
Their task is to repel a potential air attack from the United States and Israel.
The underground city is located at a depth of hundreds of meters in several spacious tunnels dug into the mountain slopes.
It is claimed that such facilities are allegedly capable of withstanding strikes by US strategic bombers.
It was recently reported that Russian military experts in missile weapons, anti-aircraft systems and artillery visited Iran and its military facilities over the past year, probably for future arms purchases.
