Investigation: Belarusian Defense Industry Aids Russia in Missile Production

The Belarusian defense-industrial complex is actively involved in producing Russian missile weaponry.

According to Channel 24, citing documents obtained from the private intelligence firm Dallas, state-owned Belarusian enterprises – namely Integral and Peleng – are engaged in manufacturing electronics for precision-guided weapons. These weapons have been repeatedly used by Russia to target civilian infrastructure in Ukraine.

Belarusian products have been found in the missiles Kh-101, Kh-47M2, Kh-69, Kh-38, as well as in the S-300 and S-400 air defense systems.

Targeting systems, stabilizers, microchips, optical systems, and other components from Minsk are integrated into Russian tanks, drones, missiles, and aircraft.

Moreover, Minsk officially supplies products to the enterprises of Rostec and the Almaz-Antey concern, maintaining direct correspondence with them despite international sanctions.

Since 2022, Belarus has effectively become a rear base for the Russian army, and its industry is a key resource for sustaining Russia’s offensive capabilities.

Moscow uses Minsk to bypass Western sanctions, imports sensitive technologies through intermediary companies, and supports the functioning of the Belarusian economy, which is critically dependent on the Russian market.

Besides supplying weapons, Minsk is involved in hybrid operations against the West: the artificial migration crisis at the borders with Poland and Lithuania, orchestrated in 2021, became a tool of political pressure on the EU.

Meanwhile, Russian mercenaries operating against Ukraine undergo training on Belarusian territory, and recently the country has become a base for the deployment of Russian nuclear weapons.

As early as October 2024, it was reported that the Belarusian state-owned 140th Repair Plant might be involved in the repair and refurbishment of armored vehicles for the Russian army.

In May of the same year, it became known that the Belarusian defense-industrial complex supplied targeting systems for Russian armored vehicles.
