In Ukraine, instructors teach civilians to use Molotov cocktails during a training session.

Recently, the second large-scale defense training was held in Kyiv as part of the campaign “Don’t panic, be prepared”.

The training took place on the territory of the ATEK factory.

The training had more than 500 concerned citizens of different ages and sexes, who wanted to get the necessary skills to protect themselves in case of military escalation by the Russian Federation.

The volunteers who arrive at the factory are organized in three columns: one for the most experienced, some veterans from the Ukrainian east; another for beginners who want to learn basic tactical elements and train in the use of weapons; and a third, interested in civil defense.

The volunteers are divided into groups to carry out tactical exercises, practice evacuating the wounded, learn how to act at checkpoints in the event of detection of suspects, master the handling of weapons or the making of Molotov cocktails. The training is conducted by instructors with combat experience.

In particular, a field training on fire training took place. A group of more experienced participants at the training ground worked out their weapons skills.

Other groups of volunteers on the territory of the ATEK factory mastered new knowledge on defense measures, including the use of Molotov cocktails.

Reference: the Molotov cocktail is a common name for the simplest improvised explosive devices based on a flammable mixture.

Since such a bomb is easy to make, it is often used during guerrilla and street wars.

Recall, in Kiev, the local territorial defense forces are trained in the use of Degtyarev DP-27 machine guns.
