In the Kherson region, the Ukrainian servicemen caused losses in armored vehicles for the Russian invasion forces.
The Ukrainian Air Assault Forces Command reported about this.
An infantry fighting vehicle (BMP) of the Russian invaders was destroyed in the southern direction by the soldiers of an anti-tank guided missiles battery of one of the brigades within the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces.
The military released a video of the damage to the moving BMP.
The Ukrainian Air Assault Forces reported that the crew of the Skif anti-tank guided missile system was controlling the road between the populated areas in the Kherson region and could not miss an opportunity when the enemy armored vehicles appeared on the monitor.
A Russian infantry fighting vehicle was hit by a guided missile from a distance of over four kilometers.
“This is our land, and the enemies have nothing to do here except for returning home in a “proper” way,” the paratroopers emphasized.
The Skif anti-tank missile system is an export version of the Ukrainian-made Stugna-P anti-tank missile system.
Stugna-P is a second-generation Ukrainian anti-tank missile system. It was developed by the Luch Design Bureau. The system is semi-automatic and is equipped with a laser beam guidance system.
The system can fire 130mm or 152 mm caliber missiles with various warheads installed in the cargo container.
Previously, soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed the armored vehicle and the Ural off-road vehicle with Russian personnel. Armored vehicles and a truck were moving along a field road along a plantation.
The servicemen of the 53rd Mechanized Brigade were the ones working against the enemy forces. Russian equipment was hit with the Ukrainian-made Stugna-P anti-tank missile system.
