In the de-occupied part of the Luhansk region, the SSU detained two women who were providing the invaders with information about the Ukrainian military and local residents who were supporting Ukraine.

The women were exposed during stabilization operations in the liberated areas of the region.

During the temporary occupation of a part of the Luhansk region, they were providing the enemy with the addresses of Ukrainian patriots and assisting invader groups during their stay in the homes of local residents.

Detainees were also organizing food for the Russian troops and offered their homes in the village of Nevske, Svatove district.

For such cooperation, the women were awarded a “special status” from the invaders and the opportunity to move freely across the occupied territory of the region.

After the settlement was liberated, the detainees stayed at home. In order to avoid responsibility, they tried to gain the trust of the Ukrainian military.

SSU employees exposed them, documented the crimes, and detained them.

Currently, they have been notified of the suspicion under Part 1 of Art. 111-2 (Assistance to the aggressor state) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. A preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen.

The crime described in this article is punishable by up to 12 years of imprisonment.

As previously reported, yesterday, a Russian soldier from the 69th Covering Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation was detained in Kherson. He was dressed in civilian clothes.

The invader remained in the city to collect information, adjust fire, and commit sabotage.
