As a result of the offensive actions of Ukrainian defenders, the Russian aggressors withdrew from their positions.

The fleeing Russians left behind their weapons, equipment, and documents.

The Staff of Joint Forces Operations claimed that the Ukrainian servicemen had taken up the invaders’ positions on the frontline of defense.

“They began to create a solid line of defense, dug in, strengthened their positions,” said the servicemen with the callsign “Phoenix”.

At the captured positions, the military found several abandoned Russian RPGs, grenade launchers and their ammunition, a big load of ammunition for the small arms of various calibers, and documents.

The Ukrainian servicemen were facing up to two dozen enemy infantry staff, supported by up to four dozen invaders in reserve.

“Their position was important: they were controlling the road. It is good that they don’t know how to fight. The reserves that would be coming to the rescue started to run first. Our mortar helped them to speed up,” the servicemen noted.

Those invaders who were at the forefront were the ones who got shot first. Later, the wounded were taken away and withdrew from the battlefield.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that the aggressors are concentrating their main efforts on preparing for offensive operations in the East of Ukraine. The main goal of the enemy is to capture the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

As reported earlier, in the Kherson region, the Ukrainian military liberated several villages from the invaders.
