HIMARS Precision Strike Destroys Russian Group and Equipment Near Pokrovsk

Ukrainian artillery units used a precision strike with the HIMARS rocket system to destroy a group of Russian invaders and their equipment near Pokrovsk.

A reconnaissance drone from the Skelia Regiment located the Russian military convoy and its personnel, then adjusted the fire accordingly.

The released video captures a single rocket hitting a group of invaders on the highway with high precision.

It is reported that at least 10 Russian soldiers were killed or seriously wounded. One piece of equipment, likely an ATV, was completely destroyed due to a fire.

Additionally, the vehicles near the strike location likely sustained damage from the munitions’ shrapnel.

According to the journalist, the strike on the occupiers using the M142 HIMARS took place south of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region, between Novopavlivka and Chynushyne. This is nearly 7 km from the current frontline.

As a reminder, two soldiers from the 425th Assault Regiment “Skelia” held their position, repelling an attack by six Russian invaders in the city of Pokrovsk.

In a firefight, the defenders immediately killed three Russian assault troops. After that, two more invaders approached, supported by Russian FPV drones.

A Ukrainian FPV drone neutralized one of the attackers, and his partner was left alone. During a firefight, he was wounded, after which Ukrainian soldiers finished him off.

Additionally, a Ukrainian modernized MiG-29MU1 fighter destroyed a road bridge near Pokrovsk, which the Russians were using for logistics and sheltering assault groups.

The strike was carried out with a pair of precision-guided bombs equipped with rocket boosters (AASM, HAMMER) of French manufacture.
