The hacker group Black Mirror has released detailed photographs of the Russian electronic warfare (EW) system 1RL257 Krasukha-4 and its production facility.

The materials were published on the group’s social media pages.

In the images, which were likely taken in 2023, the internal equipment of the system is clearly visible, including the layout of the main components and units inside the container, as well as the antenna module.

The specifications of the Krasukha-4 are classified, but according to Russian claims, the system is capable of jamming radar signals and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) control channels.

The publications mention an effective range of up to 300 kilometers, though official sources have not confirmed this estimate, and it is unlikely to have been verified in practice.

The system consists of two cargo vehicles with special equipment mounted on a KamAZ-6350 chassis. One of the vehicles is equipped with an antenna unit on a telescopic mast, likely intended for communication or long-range electronic reconnaissance.

On the roof of the other vehicle is a set of antennas: three parabolic antennas that can rotate in any direction and tilt at various angles, providing high maneuverability and precise beam directionality.

The published materials confirm that the system’s assembly takes place at the Bryansk Electromechanical Plant.

The enterprise also manufactures onboard aviation equipment, digital computing systems for managing intercontinental ballistic missiles, and radar stations for aircraft.

The factory is located approximately 120 kilometers from the border with Ukraine. According to open-source data, around 80 people work in the assembly shop alone.

In addition to technical photographs, the hackers released the company’s financial documentation for 2022-2023.

It shows that the cost of servicing, repairing, or upgrading the 1L269 Krasukha-2 system amounted to RUB 367.8 million, which, accounting for inflation, is approximately RUB 429 million or $5.2 million.

The documents do not specify exactly how the funds were spent, but the mentioned amount is likely not the full cost of the system.
