Germany supplied Ukraine with two additional MARS II multiple rocket launchers and four Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzers.
This was announced on the official website of the German government.
Over the past week, Ukraine also received two surface drones.
However, no details were provided about the type and purpose of these unmanned vehicles.
The total number of MARS II handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine increased to 5 units. Ukraine also received ammunition along with MLRS.
Including this batch of weapons, the total number of Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzers transferred by Germany and the Netherlands reached 16 units.
Germany is also shipping over 6 thousand of 155mm artillery shells and 186 thousand ammunition to 40mm grenade launchers to Ukraine within the same aid package.
The transfer of multiple additional rocket launchers and artillery to Ukraine was announced by the German Ministry of Defense on October 12.
At the end of September, the German government agreed to transfer additional artillery to Ukraine. In September, they also reported the transfer of two additional Mars II and approximately 200 GMLRS missiles.
On October 11, the first of four German IRIS-T air defense systems arrived in Ukraine.
Additionally, the German company Hensoldt handed over the first TRML-4D multifunctional radar station, which is the main means of detecting air targets of the IRIS-T SLM SAM battery, to Ukraine.
The transfer of the radar was executed within the framework of the order received from Diehl Defense for the value calculated in double-digit millions of euros.
