The German government has transferred a new batch of military aid to Ukraine, which included anti-aircraft missiles for the Iris-T SLM, trucks and pickup trucks.
The government of the Federal Republic of Germany website has updated the list of assistance transferred to Ukraine.
The list of provided assistance is updated on a regular basis.
This time, Ukraine received an unspecified number of anti-aircraft missiles for the Iris-T SLM SAM.
13 trucks, two 15t load-handling trucks, 12 truck tractor trains and 4 semi-trailers were also delivered.
In addition, Germany handed over 12 border guard vehicles and 2 pickup trucks.
Besides, plans for the future were confirmed on the website of the government of Germany, in particular 14 Leopard 2A6 main battle tanks with ammunition will be handed over to Ukraine.
It is also planned to transfer 2 Bergepanzer 3 armoured recovery vehicles, 2 air surveillance radars, 64 semi-trailer trucks and 72 truck tractor trains.
As previously reported, the German HENSOLDT company will supply Ukraine with the new TRML-4D air defense radars. TRML-4D radars will be delivered to Ukraine to strengthen the air defense.
As part of the double-digit million euro order, the two radars will be delivered within the next three months, the company stated. The first TRML-4D multifunctional radar arrived in Ukraine in October 2022.
Previously, the Ukrainian military shared the results of the combat work of the Iris-T SLM.
Iris-T is one of the world’s newest developments in the field of air defense. Ukrainian soldiers note that the arrival of the German system has significantly strengthened the capabilities of Ukrainian air defense.
