Nigeria has discovered the fourth unexploded warhead of a Tomahawk cruise missile, which was fired during strikes on ISIS camps in Sokoto State on December 25, 2025.

According to various sources, the US forces fired between 12 and 16 missiles, Clash Report reports.

Bellingcat researcher and former U.S. Army sapper Trevor Ball confirmed the fourth discovery – in the area of Ganar, Niger State.

Nigerian analyst secmxx published the photo and urged residents not to try to disassemble the munition for scrap.

At the end of December, three unexploded WDU-36/B warheads weighing 141 to 272 kg of explosives were found in Kwara and Sokoto states.
